Synopsis
I was a sophomore in high school, and my personal life had settled down a bit.
I, Makoto Taniguchi, realized one thing.
I didn’t have a girlfriend. It feels weird to say this about myself, but I’m not bad-looking. I’m not that dumb, either.
I’m smart enough to have gotten into Tenjiku High School, affiliated with Tenmiya University—a school famous throughout the prefecture for preparing students for top universities.
My personality isn’t bad either… I think.
So why can’t a guy like me get a girlfriend? That thought suddenly crossed my mind on the first day of my second year of high school.
“Why? Looking at my stats, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call me a superhuman.”
Well, I was being a bit narcissistic there.
But I was thinking about it seriously.
Just then, my bedroom door suddenly swung open.
“I’m just dropping by.”
“Why are you barging in like that? And what about the key?”
“I have a spare.”
“……”
Come to think of it, I remembered that my mom had given spare keys to my two childhood friends.
Where on earth did she leave her sense of security?
“Oh my, someone’s already here. Well, since that’s the case, I’ll just hang out here too!”
Now even my other childhood friend has shown up at my place.
This isn’t a hangout spot, you know.
“Huh?”
That’s when it hit me.
These two are unbelievably cute.
To be honest, they’re absolutely stunning.
“…An environment where two girls like that are always by my side?”
Could it be that these two are the reason I can’t get a girlfriend???
