I’m Tired of My Childhood Friend Playing Pranks on Me, so I Want to Date a Female Friend Who Loves Me Sincerely
After talking with Nagiri’s mother about everyday life at school, Nagiri and Madoka showed me around their house.
It was past 6 o’clock. I had to leave after the tour. They were still high school students, so it would be polite for them to be home by 6 o’clock.
“Ayato-kun, would you like to have dinner with us?”
As I was being pulled out of the room by Madoka-chan, Ms. Nagiri san’s mother made such a proposal.
“No, I can’t possibly impose on you that much.”
“Don’t be shy. In the near future, you’ll be…” “Ah, Mother!”… What’s wrong, Nagiri?
“Mother, you’re really dangerous when you try to say strange things. Ayato, don’t be shy, just eat.”
“…”
I glanced at Nagiri’s mother, and she nodded.
“Then, thank you.”
She was being so kind to me. It would be rude to ignore her goodwill.
I’ll have to tell Hanako that I’m eating at my friend’s house.
My parents aren’t home today, and she’s probably made something for me, so we’ll eat it tomorrow morning.
Hanako’s cooking is just as delicious as my mother’s. In fact, she knows my preferences and makes it a little saltier than my mother’s.
“Then, Madoka, Nagiri, please show Ayato around.”
“Sure.”
“Yeah, leave it to Madoka.”
And so, after leaving the room, we were given a tour of the house centered around Madoka-chan.
“This is the library. It’s bigger than the school library!”
So there’s a library in the house… and it’s bigger than the school’s.
It’s definitely huge… but it’s still a school. Even if the Kagumo family is super rich, how can they we in terms of library size?
“Hey, Madoka.”
“Hmm, what is it, onee chan?”
“Why are you holding Ayato’s hand?”
As Nagiri-san said, Madoka-chan was holding my hand while giving us a tour of the house.
Her hands were small and girly. I’ve never held the hands of girls my age except for Rika.
“I’m holding Ayato-nii-chan’s hand so he doesn’t get lost.”
Nagiri-san glances at me and Madoka with a suspicious expression.
“It’s fine, Nagiri-san. I’m perfectly fine with this. It’s cute, isn’t it?”
“Hmm, I just get a bad feeling about it.”
“It’s okay.”
