High School Life (Marriage Hunting) in a World Where the Male-female Ratio is 1:15 and Chastity is Reversed
I was embarrassed during the process, but finally the boys’ self-introductions begin.
Asakura sensei asked how do we decided the order. We all talked about it, but in the end, the order was decided by rock-paper-scissors-scissors.
The order was decided as follows: Kazuki, another boy, Sakuma kun, and me.
After the two random guys had introduced themselves, it was my turn.
“I’m Nanase Tatsuya. I’m not a member of any clubs, but I’m planning to cheer for the tournament. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of my classmates, and it’s a pleasure to meet you all.”
Well, I don’t have a clue either. First impressions are important. I feel like I’ve been mocked by the honey incident, but….
And the other two were just trying to get by with the minimum number of people and conversation, which is normal in this world, but I want to get along with everyone.
I was glad to see that the tense atmosphere that had been building up since the boys’ self-introductions began seemed to loosen a bit.
After the self-introductions were over, the teacher closed the session, and that was the end of today’s school activities, but the boys still had some more work to do.
“I’m sorry, Saya, but you’ll have to wait a bit ! Well then, introductions over, we’re going to have a strategy meeting !”
“Eh, why?” “I guess so.”
I told Saya and called out to the two guys.
The two guys also replied, “Okay, I’ll be waiting for you.”
By the way, Saya is in the same class as me. She introduced herself earlier and said shyly that she was my fiancee..
How cute.
Being in the same class was an easy mode male privilege, and if you ask before enrolling, you’ll be able to attend without any problems.
At the time, I didn’t think much about it, but now that I think about it, it would have been pretty bad if I had failed to propose this morning.
They let me through easily, but did the government know the outcome? Eh, no…?
But now I’m starting to get scared because it seems like they actually do this kind of verification ! !
For some reason, Kazuki didn’t seem to get the idea of my proposal. He doesn’t immediately agree, so I wonder why.
I didn’t introduce him, but the one who agrees and understands my proposal is another classmate, Sakuma Ryo.
I’m not asking this proposal out of curiosity, just to make fun of him and ask him who his type is.
We guys in high school are serious about our marriage activities. Well, I guess girls are the same.
So, is it tradition? Or culture? There are many traditions in high school life.
After self-introductions, the guys get together to exchange first impressions.
I might be a little bit interested in that girl. We share information like that on a daily basis, and try to be careful not to sway the other party’s feelings.
I’m serious, but the other girl is serious too, and we have to respect her wishes, so it’s pretty complicated.
“We’re mainly exchanging first impressions. It would be terrible if we ended up fighting over something that overlaps.”
“Ah…so that’s part of it.”
“That’s right. I’ll go first then. Ryuguji san it is.”
[ [Of course.] ]
My best first impression is Ryuguji Mirei. It’s that blond with a vertical roll.
She even stood up during self-introductions and asked questions.
The two of them answered immediately and looked like they knew what I was going to say without saying it.
Well, of course.
And when I looked in that direction, my eyes met Ryuguji san’s and she winked at me.
C-cute. Not that ! She just winked at me…!
By the way, I winked back at her.
After that, we moved to the edge of the classroom and resumed our whispered meeting, each of us naming another name.
Hmmm, Kazuki seems like a girl in a literature club and for Sakuma kun it was someone that was recommended for the basketball club, huh? I see.
I guess Kazuki likes quiet girls. She was the one who said she liked to read during self-introduction.
I remember because I saw her breasts on the desk when she sat down after the self-introduction. It was very impressive.
Am I the only one who thinks that girls like that seem to have a strong sex drive?
Well, what the heck…if that’s the case, go for it Kazuki. It’s a treat for me, but not so much for the men in this world.
On the other hand, Sakuma kun, are you into a cheerful girl? I can’t study at all ! But I can play basketball ! Someone who says that.
I felt the vibes of an idiot child in her, but I wonder if Sakuma kun sensed that too and chose her. I’m curious about that.
But I understand. Saya also had a case where she wore her skirt inside out, and only realized it after she spilled ice cream on it, which was also cute.
Well, it’s just the first exchange of opinions, and we can decide after talking to each other, so it’s not a big problem now. The problem is later on.
The scariest thing is when the relationship is already established to some extent and both guys like the same person.
Then, why don’t both of them confess their feelings and let the person choose? You might think.
That’s naive, very naive. You underestimate the weakness of men in this world.
If you are rejected, you will be useless for three years (vice versa).
I’ve listed people who I think might be good based on my first impressions, so if this changes in the future, I’ll keep it updated.
Unlike the lukewarm, free-access boys’ school we’ve been going to, the guys will be going to school every weekday to have this conversation, so I don’t think we’ll have too much overlap.
The memorable first boys’ meeting ended without any problems, and afterwards I introduced Saya to Kazuki and Sakuma kun and headed home with Saya.
“Do you want to have lunch somewhere?”
“RIght~I want a beef bowl !”
“Oh…there you go, you foodie. Then let’s go to some random Japanese restaurant.”
“Yeah ! This is kinda nice.”
On the way home. It was just lunch time, so I invited Saya out for lunch, but she chose a beef bowl in no time. She has these clear, carefree eyes.
Well, it’s nice to have someone’s opinion when you’re going out for a meal.
Beef bowl it is.
I succeeded in broadening my range of choices by choosing a Japanese restaurant instead of a certain chain restaurant.
In my previous life, when I had a meal with a woman, not to mention a date, I couldn’t immediately say [Beef bowl]. I like beef bowls though.
Saya is amazing. She goes over the line so easily.
“Hm, what is it?”
“It’s been my dream since I was little. To stop by on the way home from school together like this. At the end of the third grade, we were separated from each other. At that time, we played together in the schoolyard, but we never went out. So I was happy.”
I was surprised that she chose to have a beef bowl, even though he had so much on her mind.
It was quite a shock, but I tried to keep a poker face so as not to show it.
“I’m also happy. So, one of your dreams came true. I’m glad. Let’s go to many places together from now on.”
“Yeah ! I wanna go to the aquarium, and the zoo would be nice too. The ocean would also be nice ! And camping in the mountains would be nice too. Mumumu…”
Yes, she’s cute. She’s been so happy all day, I’m happy for her too.
So we headed to a Japanese restaurant, enjoying conversation with Saya, who kept talking about where she wanted to go at full speed.
