Episode 11 – The outcome of the operation

How I, a Hated Person, Ended Up Staying With Three Beautiful Sisters

It was late Sunday night.

I was lying on the sofa in the dark living room, secretly exchanging messages with Akane senpai.

[Akane senpai, I’ll be going to Class 3-A during lunch break tomorrow.]

[Eh? Kojiro kun is coming to our classroom? Why?]

[I’m going to talk to Katsuyama senpai. Akane senpai, please leave the classroom immediately after lunch break.]

[I don’t really understand, but is it bad for me to be there? I think it would be better for the three of us to talk since we’re all involved.]

[If Akane senpai is there, Katsuyama senpai won’t tell the truth with a straight face. I definitely don’t want you there.]

[I see…by the way, what are you going to talk about? Of course, it’s going to be a peaceful conversation, right? No fighting, okay?]

[Leave that to me. I’ll take responsibility for erasing all the bad rumors about Akane senpai.]

[…..Alright, I believe you. Let me know if there’s anything I can do. Kojiro kun, you’re a reliable junior, but I’m the one who got you involved !}

[Yes. That’s all I have to say. If Maho and Miyu get suspicious, things might get complicated, so please keep this confidential. Please delete all of this chat history as well.]

I sent that last message and deleted the chat history.

Now everything is in order.

“Let’s make sure we don’t mess this up and get everything organized.”

That said, what we have to do is simple.

First, expose Katsuyama senpai’s crimes to the light of day.

Second, restore Akane senpai’s reputation.

All we have to do is execute these two things simultaneously.

The question is how to do it.

Rumors are easy to extinguish when they’re small, but once they spread, they’re not so easy to put out.

Even if you present evidence, emotions and sensationalism take precedence. That’s just how it is.

That’s why I decided not to extinguish the fire of rumors with the water of truth, but to throw more fuel on the fire and make it even bigger.

To extinguish a small fire, you just need to cover it with a bigger fire.

To do that, I needed to expose the foolish acts that Katsuyama senpai had committed in the past, but that was easy.

It turned out that one of Maho’s close friends had almost fallen victim to his schemes. Thanks to that, I was able to obtain the screenshots and catch Katsuyama senpai red-handed.

Apparently, Maho’s friend cooperated willingly, thinking it was for Akane senpai’s sake. I’m grateful for that.

By the way, I haven’t told Maho the details. I just told her to leave it to me.

She wanted that too, so she was supportive.

That said, Katsuyama senpai was an unforgivable man.

“…..He’s a piece of trash, just as his name suggests.”

I muttered as I looked at the screenshots and notes I had compiled.

It seems that Kasama-senpai, in order to show off his superiority, approached various girls and spread both good rumors about himself and bad rumors about those he disliked at the same time.

When I learned that he had used various underhanded tactics to humiliate and mock several girls in the past, my doubts vanished.

Then, it’s worth it for me to take the blame.

I’ll light a big fire. Let’s burn together.

“Well, I guess I’ll go to bed and prepare for tomorrow.”

With my feet still bound, I fell asleep on the sofa again today.

It was Akane senpai who tied the ropes, but on that day, I felt like the ropes were a little looser than usual.

<<<<♡♡♡♡>>>>

And then dawn broke, bringing the fateful Monday.

It was the day I would declare war on Katsuyama senpai, and also the long-awaited day of the midterm exams. In this case, the former was more important. The latter should be no problem, as I could aim for over 90% in all subjects.

“Alright !”

My morning began with the same frantic rush as last week.

Usually, I do everything on my own, from the starting gun to crossing the finish line, but today was different.

For some reason, Akane senpai was left in the living room, looking anxiously at me, while Maho and Miyu were also looking concerned as they stayed by Akane senpai’s side.

It was clear how close the three sisters were.

Well, in the end, we go to school separately, so there’s no point in waiting for them.

So, I went to school alone and smoothly completed the morning session of the midterm exams.

What caught my attention was that during the brief breaks, rumors were circulating about Akane senpai, Katsuyama senpai, and me.

Each time, Maho would say, “Shut up” to quell the rumors, but they weren’t completely suppressed.

After all, superficial measures were useless.

“…As expected, though.”

My mutter was lost in the commotion.

And finally, lunchtime arrived. Everyone was eating while studying for the afternoon exams, but as soon as the bell rang, I hurriedly left the classroom.

My destination was decided. Third-year Class A.

By the end of today’s lunchtime, Katsuyama senpai would be brought down to earth alongside me.
