I Heard That the Cool Maid Had Feelings for Someone, so I Fired Her for Her Happiness, and She Came to My House Alone

“no‼︎”

I had somewhat expected this, but it was still turned down. The plan to ask for a normal favor had failed.

I had expected this, but I hadn’t thought about what to do next.

There is nothing to do.

Shall we discuss it? No, Towa has always been stubborn. I can see myself being rounded up by her even if I have a serious talk with her.

“Who, by the way, suggested putting the bed in that room?”

“Me?”

What’s so natural about that? I can’t help but think that she’s trying desperately/ It’s not at all natural, not even for a millimeter.

This is not a world where chastity is reversed, so women should live modestly. They should keep a line between themselves and men.

Towa is not my girlfriend, and that is not why I have come to live in this house. I’m just the son of my boss, and I’m the one who should have served

Well, we’ve known each other since childhood, and I don’t want to have a relationship with her like a job. I want like we support each other in a fun way? It’s kind of like a married couple.

“Oh, but I wasn’t trying to do it without permission, you know? I asked your father and he said yes.”

Dad~, what are you doing?

“Soo~, absolutely no~~~”

“Haaaa”

I knew for sure that at this moment, persuasion was no longer possible. Well, the only problem was that I had to vent my sexual desires.

I can manage that. While Towa is out shopping, I’ll do it like a light.

Towa doesn’t seem to know much about such things, and there’s the issue of tissues and smells, but I’ll just assume it’ll be okay.

No way she’s going to climb into my bed at night.

“Okay. I give up.”

“That’s all right. Nothing strange will happen.”

I wake up in the morning.

It’s a strange ceiling. It’s a new house.

I wonder how Kanade is living now. Until yesterday morning, she used to wake me up.

Breakfast is always ready when I go to the living room, and we part ways on our way to the university, talking about nothing at all.

“Oh, good morning. master.”

Apparently Towa had woken up first. I wondered if she had come to wake me up.

“Good morning Towa, you’re up early.”

“Yes. I thought I’d make breakfast.”

“Is it already ready?”

“Yeah, and I have to register for classes, so I thought Master would show me the ropes.”

Registration, yeah, she has to do that too. Medical school is a difficult place to get credits. The key to advancement is how many easy ones you choose among the difficult credits.

If you are a serious and smart person, you can probably get credits no matter how difficult they are. Last year I was really close. If I had dropped one more credit, I would have been left out of the class.

“Leave it to me, I’ll recommend you all the hard credits.”

“You’ll get your ass kicked, you know?”

“Oh, I’m sorry…”

Women are scary.

“Let’s wash our faces and eat. Come on, come on, come on.”

I changed from my pajamas into my casual clothes and washed my face as Towa had told me to do. Whoever thought of washing face in the morning was a genius.

My fuzzy head feels crisp and my face is cold, and I wake up.

“Oh, that looks delicious.”

“Right~? Breakfast is the first meal of the day. You have to serve something that will cheer you up.”

The dishes on the table were all of which I had no idea what the theme was. But what is certain is that the food looks delicious.

While we were enjoying breakfast together, I was thinking about something.

Nothing particularly strange happened last night.

As I recall, I went into the bedroom first, and Towa came in about ten minutes later.

I think Towa thought I was asleep and was humming a tune. It was a memorable song that I, Kanade, and Towa used to sing together when we were little.

Sometimes Kanade would sing it while cooking.

I was a little worried that Towa might try to get under the covers like Kanade did, but she didn’t do anything, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to sleep in the same room with Towa.

Sometimes it’s nice to sleep together in the bedroom and talk about the good old days.

“By the way, Kanade is in the same college as you, right?”

I nodded.

“What’s her major?”

“Law school.”

“Law school, that’s a bit far.”

Our university is one of the top universities in Japan and has a very large campus. The campus where I attend the School of Medicine is more than twice the size of an ordinary university.

“They are right opposite each other, the School of Medicine and the School of Law.”

“I was thinking I might come and see you if you’re close by… What about a club or something?”

“No, I don’t think so. She was usually home when I got home.”

The time when Kanade didn’t come home before me was when she had lectures until about the sixth period.

I think she probably didn’t join any clubs. I was not a member of any clubs, so we never talked about it at home.

But when I happened to look at Kanade’s phone screen, I saw that she was reading a novel, so I guessed that she was interested in literature and art.

Our university has a lot of circles, and there is a possibility that she might join a circle since she would have lost her job as a maid.

“Eeh, Master, you’re too controlling of Kanade. No wonder she’s finding someone else to love.”

“No, I said you could have your own way, didn’t I?”

“Is that so? Then I don’t understand.”

I don’t really understand Kanade. If she has found someone she likes, she can go out with that person on her days off, but I’ve never seen her go out with him even once.

She was basically doing housework at home, and when she had time, all she did was play with her phone or chat with me.

I’m an indoor person, so I was home all the time.

“There’s no certainty we’ll see each other somehow, so let’s go to the law school. It would be reassuring to have the master there, and maybe the three of us childhood friends could hang out, you know?”

“Okay. Let’s go there.”
