I Kept Silently Supporting the Lowest-Ranked Idol in the Popularity Rankings, Before I Knew It, I Was in a Shuraba
Everyone has hobbies. Occasionally, there are some students who say they have no hobbies as if it is cool to do so, but we ignore them.
That kind of person is a pain in the ass. You can ignore them. I will never understand their values.
Well, that doesn’t really matter now. Ruria-chan’s hobby is shogi. That’s surprising. Ruria-chan is half-Japanese, so I thought she’d have more Western hobbies.
What do you mean by “Western-style hobby”?
“Nii san? Are you reading something like that again?”
“What do you mean by that? She’s the idol I’m rooting for!”
“But she’s not the most popular one in the group, is she?”
“That’s why it’s good. You can monopolize her”
“So you’re the type of guy who likes restrain”
“No, I’m not.”
I’m not the kind of person who keeps his girlfriends in a tight grip. But I wouldn’t show any mercy if she cheated on me.
“If you’re always pushing idols like that, you’ll never get a girlfriend, will you?”
“It’s none of your business.”
I like being single-minded. That’s why I distinguish between love and romance. I support my idol with all my might, but I carefully consider my life partner.
I’m not good looking enough. I’ll just believe in a miracle that someone I like will like me.
My plan for today is to go to the handshake event of a national idol, Sherbet, from now on, so I’m heading there first.
One of the girls I’m pushing for is Narimiya Ruria. She’s a half-Russian girl with beautiful white hair.
And inexplicably, as my sister mentioned earlier, Ruria is by far the least popular of the 10 sherbet members.
It’s not that she doesn’t have fans. But I believe I was the only one who supported her in the early days of her activities.
Ever since I started tweeting about her on my SNS account, she has been gaining fans, albeit gradually.
I’m feeling both happy and sad that her appeal has started to spread.
I don’t understand why someone so beautiful and pretty like Ruria doesn’t get more popularity.
I think her face is one of the best among Japanese, and she has a good style. Her breasts are modest, too.
Is it that? Is it because she has white hair that it is unacceptable? Or is it the fact that she is a little unsociable?
That’s the charm, though.
…after going to Rulia’s handshake session, I went to attend the live performance of Snowy, an underground idol group.
It’s been about a year since the group was formed, and there are rumors that they will soon make their major label debut.
The group consists of six girls, all of whom have their own unique and cute personalities. My favorite is Masumi Rena chan. She is a pure idol with long black hair and a cool personality.
She is a little unlucky in that she lost the fan popularity contest held about a week ago by two votes to the fifth-place winner.
Her popularity is not so great, but if she makes her major label debut, her popularity will soar in no time.
“I’m off to the handshake event now, so please stay at home.”
I knew it~
There were countless people waiting in line, mainly for the top five in the popularity ranking. I wonder how long the people at the end of the line would have to wait.
I can wait as long as I can talk to my oshi, but some people don’t like this kind of thing and try to disrupt the line. Why don’t they just stop being fans?
So I got in line for Ruria chan, the girl I wanted, and was told by the person in charge that the wait time would be five minutes.
That’s right. There were only two people in front of me. It’s strange, isn’t it?
The two people in front of me were only looking at their phones, and I thought they weren’t interested. If they’re just random fans, they’re only hurting Ruria chan, so I’d rather they didn’t.
Five minutes passed and it was my turn. This is the tenth time I’ve come to Ruria’s handshake session. I’ve never missed a single one, so I’ve been a perfect attendance record.
After about the third time, Ruria began to recognize me.
“Hello, Narimiya-san.”
The moment Ruria-chan saw my face, I felt her face light up. It wasn’t because I came. It was probably because I was the last person to see her. Don’t be smug.
“Hello, Akito san. I’m so glad you came again today!”
She shook my hand while saying.
She’s too cute. I’m falling in love with her!
“Of course. I’m going to meet Narimiya-san, so it’s only natural.”
“Mouu Akito san. I told you to call me Ruria.”
“No, no way. It would be disrespectful to call you by your first name, Narimiya-san.”
I call you by that in my mind, though. And that makes me happy.
“Of course I don’t like to be called by my first name too much either. But if it’s Akito-san, it’s different. I’d rather you call me by my first name! Akito-san is special.”
“Haha. Thank you.”
I act likeI don’t want her to know, but inside I am excited. Because my guess is Idol is calling me I’m special, right?
If it wasn’t for me, I’d be mistaken. That she is in love with me.
We spent a very intense time within the time limit. We talked about each other’s hobbies, school, and various other things.
“I’ll be back again, Narimiya-san. It was fun.”
“No way, this is the last one so please give a little more time.”
“I’m sorry, I have something else to do.”
“What is it? Is it a girl or something?”
“…No. I’m just going to the bookstore. The only person I’m interested in is Narimiya-san!”
“Really? I’m so happy!”
Everyone wants to be the best idol. It would be like pouring fuel on the fire to tell her that I’m going to go support other girls now.
Lying is also good for the soul, right?
