The Issue With Her Arrow Pointing at Me Being Way Too Big
“…Mom, I’m heading out.”
“Okay~, have a good trip~! Make sure to tell me when things start looking up~!”
Shut up!!
Friday rolled around, and just as I was packing my bags to leave the house, this happened… Even though I hadn’t told her anything about Ayaka, Mom acted like she knew everything.
“…Haa, my mom really is a noisy person.”
“Hey, that’s a bit harsh, don’t you think? Well, it just means she loves her son that much! See ya~!”
…She really is noisy.
But being raised by a mom like that all this time, I ended up turning out like this… I don’t hate it at all. I’m actually glad to be Mom and Dad’s son.
“Alright then, gotta get moving.”
My steps leaving the house… well, they were light.
It was evening, so it was getting dark, but I already knew every inch of these streets… what was where, what time the old folks from the neighborhood went for their walks.
“…I wonder how this is gonna turn out.”
Can I be honest?
I’m really… really hoping for something, you know? Like, expecting all kinds of sexy events to happen.
Ayaka and I aren’t dating… but still, a man and a woman under the same roof… wouldn’t it be rude not to have some naughty thoughts?
“…I’m getting nervous.”
Just fantasizing is free, but I kinda want to experience it for real too…
With those expectations in mind, I made my way there. Just as I were about to arrive at Ayaka’s place, I unexpectedly ran into someone.
“…Ah.”
It was Tokui.
Unlike me, who’d gone home first to change, Tokui was still in his school uniform—probably because he’d been out somewhere.
What a terrible place to run into him… Wait, why do I feel this way? Do I actually dislike Tokui? I thought that, but then I switched gears, figuring I didn’t need to hold back around him. The moment I did, I cared even less about Tokui than usual.
“……………”
It wasn’t like we needed to exchange words.
I tried to walk past him in silence, but Tokui spoke up.
“Why… why are you here?”
“…Huh?”
Um… sorry, I just froze up in surprise.
Sure, this is the first time I’ve run into Tokui around here… but that doesn’t give him any right to comment on where anyone is.
“It’s none of your business where I am, okay? This isn’t your backyard or anything.”
“… People around here get scared when someone like you shows up! And… Ayaka would be scared too!”
“…If you say she’d be scared, I guess you’re right. But even so, you’ve got no right to say that to me?”
This guy… He’s really a pain in the ass.
But… I disliked myself a little in that moment—because the place I was heading to was the home of his cherished childhood friend, and I was going to spend the night with her. Thinking that, I felt a sense of superiority.
(I…)
Well… I guess I have to admit it.
I thought… that if a guy like this is going to be near Ayaka… I want to be the one near her… Not that I want to mess with this annoying guy or anything, but I seriously thought about taking Ayaka somewhere he couldn’t reach her…
“If… if you do anything to Ayaka, I won’t forgive you, got it?”
“Oh? What exactly won’t you forgive me for?”
I should’ve just let it go… but I’m still a kid, and when someone picks a fight with me for no reason, it just pisses me off.
Rule number one: Make him understand with a glare.
Putting that into practice, Tokui took a step back like he was scared shitless, then turned his back and walked away.
“…What the hell… Seriously though, even if you ignore how I look, isn’t that way of talking just plain awful?”
Conclusion: Before even getting annoyed, it’s fine to just recognize that guy as a total jerk, right?
Just to be sure, I glanced back, but Tokui was already gone. After checking behind me a few more times, I headed to Ayaka’s house… and finally arrived.
I rang the doorbell. Soon after, the door opened, revealing Ayaka in a completely off-duty state… wearing revealing, borderline-inappropriate casual clothes.
“Welcome, Amato-kun.”
“Oh, uh…”
“Please, come in?”
“…Excuse me for intruding.”
Ayaka’s house… My first time here.
I was acutely aware of how tense and stiff I was, but the atmosphere inside felt warm… Warm enough that I could imagine how lovely it must be normally, with her parents here too.
“……………”
But seriously, in the middle of that warm scene… Ayaka’s hips swayed back and forth.
Her full chest, firm thighs… it was definitely a feast for the eyes, but being here for the first time only amplified my nerves.
Invited to her house… wondering what would happen, my heart swelling with anticipation, I headed to Ayaka’s room.
“This is my room.”
“…Got it.”
The room she led me to was very neat.
True to her claim of loving manga, anime posters hung on the walls, and her bookshelves were packed solid with manga volumes… Of course, there were plenty of textbooks and study materials too, but it felt like a room that could only belong to Ayaka.
“You can put your stuff over there.”
“Ah… Wait, am I supposed to sleep here?”
“Huh? Yeah, why not?”
What are you saying? She looked at me like that.
Her bed was set up, and a futon was folded in the corner, so I’d suspected it… but we’d be sleeping in the same room?
My nerves, already high, swelled even more.
This intense tension, unlike anything I’d felt before, was so overwhelming I realized how uncharacteristically quiet I’d become… But then, Ayaka threw her arms around me.
“Ah, Ayaka…!?”
“We’re alone here, you know. Just relax your shoulders… okay?”
“…How am I supposed to relax like this?”
“I guess you’re right… But I like you when you’re nervous, Amato-kun.”
She pressed herself even closer to me.
The sensation of her breasts squashed against my chest and the sweet scent nearly made my head spin… but I managed to hold myself together.
Or rather, normally, she wouldn’t go this far… Does Ayaka truly hold special feelings for me?
“Of course, I had a reason for calling you today, Amato-kun… It’s true I wanted to spend time with you… But most of all, I wanted you to be much more conscious of me than you are now… Because I want to be yours.”
“Th-that…”
“That means I feel about you—”
The decisive words were about to come out…
But then, the intercom rang, signaling a visitor.
“……………”
I let out a sigh, but Ayaka’s expression was far too aggressive.
Clearly annoyed by this visitor, she sighed, took my hand, and led me toward the front door… and then—
“Who is it?”
“Ayaka, it’s me.”
Beyond the entrance, Tokui’s voice came through the door.
“Why is Makoto…?”
“Well… you’re alone today, right? So—”
I distinctly heard Ayaka click her tongue.
