The Top 3 Beauties in My School Are All My Subordinates at My Part-time Job~ You Guys Are Out of My League, So Stop Relying on a Mediocre Guy

I asked Hamakaze san and Kyono san to take care of the new customers.

Meanwhile, Kamigasaki and I went around to each seat in turn.

“Excuse me, sir. Did you post this picture?”

“No, I did not.”

“I’m sorry, are you the one who posted this picture?”

“No, I’m not.”

The customers looked at me suspiciously.

I felt uncomfortable asking around.

But…I can’t say that.

“Do you know who posted this?”

“I don’t know.”

“I’m sorry, sir. Did you post this photo on a social media—”

I went around to all the tables.

All the customers looked suspicious. Unfortunately, no one had posted anything.

“How’s it going? Any luck?”

“No. What about you?”

“No clue here either.”

“Damn it……I see.”

“Akizuki, you’re asking around frantically, too. That’s unexpected.”

What do you mean by unexpected?

“Well, yeah.”

If a girl in the same class became a victim of stalking just because she worked part-time at my store, I would feel too bad for her. That’s why I’m so desperate.

“Maybe because you’re afraid that Adachi and the others will find out that we work at Akizuki’s store.”

“Eh?”

Come to think of it, I didn’t want my classmates to know that they were working part-time at my store.

I was so preoccupied with the danger of the girls being stalked that I forgot all about it.

“I’m just trying to keep the three of you safe.”

“Oh, I didn’t expect that. I wonder if I’m one of the three?”

What is Kamigasaki trying to say.

“Naturally.”

“Oh, well……”

For some reason, Kamigasaki suddenly looked away.

People started to get up from their seats to leave, and new customers came in.

“Now, we have to greet our customers. It’s a little hot.”

The cool beauty moved away, fanning her face with one hand like a fan.

Hot? Is the air conditioner not working properly?

I checked the temperature setting, but it was correct, and I didn’t feel particularly hot. I looked around at the customers, but no one looked hot.

Is it a fever? Is everything okay?

But from the looks of it, she doesn’t seem to be in particularly bad shape.

I was a little concerned, but I had to check out the customers who were leaving.

Some people are ordering extra food, and the restaurant is pretty busy.

“I gotta work too.”

I’m busy serving customers. And in between, I talk to customers to ask about social media.

I’m so busy that I feel dizzy.

But in the end, I was unable to get any information that would lead me to the person who posted this, and our lunch hour came to an extremely busy and hectic one.

***

The number of customers was more than twice as many as usual because of the postings on social media.

Now that lunchtime had arrived. Our  “Café de Hinata” had turned into a battlefield.

“Two more lunch sets !”

“Owner ! Another lunch set ! And another three !”

“Two after-lunch coffees, one iced and one hot.”

“Got it ! All three of you.”

“Dad, one lunch !”

“Oh……o-okay.”

The top three beauties are really doing a great job in the midst of this chaos.

Hamakaze san and Kyono san’s mistakes have decreased, if not eliminated, to zero.

The problem is the kitchen, which my father is running almost entirely by himself.

I help out, but it’s hard to keep up.

“Excuse me ! The after-lunch coffee hasn’t come yet?”

“This one hasn’t even arrived yet !”

They are making customers wait here and there.

When one customer raises his voice, a chain of voices goes up from the other customers, urging.

“Yes, be right with you ! Owner, is the hot coffee ready yet?”

“Oh, it’ll be ready soon ! Please wait a moment.”

“Ah..erm……..yes, understand.”

The timid Kyono is flustered.

Hamakaze san, still new to the job, was—

“W-w-w-w-what are we gonna do? Hey, hey !”

Both of them look at me with clinging eyes, but I’ve got my hands full too.

I had to wash the dishes, set the plates, take the cake out of the fridge and put it on the plates.

I can do those things, but only my father can cook and make coffee.

“The kitchen isn’t running smoothly at all. Why don’t you at least make the coffee?”

Kamigasaki’s irritated voice threw a fastball at me.

“Don’t be absurd. It’s not easy to make coffee.”

Many of our customers tell us that we are a café that makes good coffee.

Coffee is a delicate thing that changes its taste with the slightest difference in the way it is brewed.

It’s not something you can suddenly just ask someone to make you a cup of coffee.

“All you have to do is put coffee powder in a cup, pour hot water over it, and let it dissolve.”

She was trying to say that I’m a useless man, but…

I was taken aback by Kamigasaki’s comment.

This was an issue that went beyond the delicate brewing method.

“What is it? Is there something on my face?”

Of course, you have beautiful face parts on your face.

The most annoying thing about this girl is that she has a very well-defined face.

“That’s instant coffee, isn’t it?”

“Eh? Ah…i-is that so? Is the coffee at this cafe different?”

“It is. Especially at our store, we hand-drip each cup, so it takes longer.”

“Hand-drip?”

No. It’s not a name like lipstick that you put on your hands.

“Hand drip. Umm, hand drip is…ah, come on ! I don’t have time to explain that when we’re this damn busy. I’ll tell you later, so for now, let’s get to work.”

“Ah, yes. Of course.”

The usually assertive Kamigasaki answered obediently so the contrast made my heart skip a beat.

Just that made her look cute, I’m such an easy target.

But Kamigasaki’s words have remained with me strangely.

[Why can’t Akizuki at least make the coffee?]

It is true that under the current system, the kitchen is unbalanced unless the kitchen is shared a little more during busy hours.

Cooking and making sweets is not something I can do right away, but with practice, I think I can make coffee.

Coffee in particular takes a lot of orders and a lot of time and effort, so my sharing the workload will go a long way toward right-sizing the workload.

Kamigasaki can be scary and annoying to talk to, but what she says is often right on the bat.

Except for the way we made that coffee earlier.

Kamigasaki’s sheer ignorance almost made me flip over.

Anyway, I had to get over this peak hour before I could talk about it.

“Ahhhh, I can’t keep up with the cooking at all ! Can someone help me cook !”

I heard my father’s cry from inside the kitchen.

It was the first time I’d heard my usually carefree father sound so nervous.

This is really bad.
