When I Go Back in Time, My Ex-wife Is Making a Passionate Approach to Me, and I’m Having Trouble With It
It was after school. Kyoka told me she was joining the literature club, so I asked her to come to my classroom.
Haruka seemed unhappy, but I couldn’t complain about her joining the club. I headed to the clubroom with Haruka and Kyoka.
“Good morning, senpai. Hey, who’s that?”
Tachibana, who was waiting in the clubroom, immediately spotted Kyoka.
“She is a new member.”
“Are you serious?”
Tachibana rolled her eyes and approached Kyoka.
“I’m Tachibana, the club leader. Are you seriously going to join the club?”
“Yeah.
I’ve never written or read many novels, but I’m interested.”
“You are very welcome.
Please join us.”
Tachibana then took out the club’s admission form from the drawer and handed it to Kyoka.
Kyouka quickly wrote her name there and then and handed it to the officer.
“By the way, why did you join the Literature Club, Kazenashi-san?”
“Well, because I know someone in the club. I thought it would be fun.”
“Know someone?”
“Yeah. Ryo and I have known each other since childhood.”
Kyoka put her arms around my neck. Haruka saw this and looked at her
“Hey Kazanashi-san, you can’t be so sticky here”
“Eeh it’s okay.
I’m a childhood friend.”
Kyoka is trying to use the childhood friend card to the fullest. To be honest, I don’t really feel anything if Kyoka clings to me. But I think that’s why our marriage will be successful. We won’t be too conscious of each other and we’ll be able to respect each other. I think that’s the relationship between me and Kyoka.
“Haruka, I don’t really care about it. It happens all the time.”
“But ……”
Haruka seems dissatisfied. There is no such physical contact between Haruka and me. Haruka and I are just strangers. We got married, but that was probably one of the reasons why it didn’t work out.
“Well, well, well. You’ve never written a novel before, have you, Kazanashi-san? We were just writing a short story for the club magazine for the school festival.”
“I don’t mind.
I’m just a beginner. First, I’m going to write whatever I want. Ryo will teach me how to do it.”
“Wait a minute. Ryo is a beginner of novels. If you want to learn, I’ll teach you.”
“I don’t mind.
Ryo and I know each other well, so he can teach me how to write. Ryo writes novels, too, doesn’t he?”
“Well, yes.”
“Then, Ryo is fine. Kurosaki-san, concentrate on your own novel.
“I’m going out for a while.”
With that, Haruka leaves the clubroom.
I had a feeling, but between Kyouka and Haruka, Kyouka is one step ahead. It’s only natural considering she has the mental age of 30, but Haruka is getting the better of her.
Even for me, it was difficult to refuse. Since Kyoka has joined the Literature Club, I want to respect her desire to learn how to write novels. If I can motivate her by teaching her, there is no reason for her to refuse.
There are several computers in the club. There are enough computers for all of us, so I will start by teaching her how to use them.
Kyoka is not very good with machines, so I have to explain everything to her from scratch. I gave her a careful lecture and turned on the computer.
“She’s funny, Kurosaki-san,”
Kyoka said to me, biting back a laugh.
“She overreacts every time I get involved with Ryo. She must really like Ryo.”
“When I was in high school, I was always treated with little interest.
I don’t know why Haruka likes me so much.”
“Heee, you don’t get it.”
“Do you understand Kyoka?”
“I guess. I see, if Ryo hasn’t noticed, that woman will have a hard time.”
“If you know, tell me.”
“I don’t want to.
I’m at a disadvantage.”
Kyouka stuck out her tongue as she said this.
It seems Kyouka has realized why Haruka fell in love with me. But it seems she has no intention of telling me.
“So, teach me how to write a novel.”
“Yeah make up a story in your head first. Then you start by writing it down in bullet-point form.”
“It’s hard to do that.”
Well yeah.
I think it is difficult for beginners. First of all, it will be difficult to picture the story in your mind.
Anyway, you have to give it a try. I told Kyoka and let her try.
“What kind of stories do you like, Kyoka?”
“Love stories, I guess.”
“That’s surprising.”
“What are you talking about? Girls love love stories. That’s why I love shoujo manga.”
“I don’t think of Kyoka as reading shoujo manga.”
“That’s rude.
I’m a girl too, you know.”
I’m sure that I’m just feeling like a guy friend, but Kyoka might be more of a girl than I thought.
“I’m especially fond of stories about childhood friends winning.”
“Is there such a story?”
“Yes, there is! It is said that a childhood friend is a losing heroine, but there are quite a few stories in which a childhood friend wins.”
The image of the childhood friend as a losing heroine is too strong. But, for all I know, Kyoka was my childhood friend, and in the past, she was a losing heroine. That losing heroine came for revenge. I am wondering if it is right to choose my childhood friend.
“Yes, but I want to write a story in which the childhood friend wins.”
“Then you need to write it out first, from the beginning to the end.”
“I understand.”
I feel friendship for Kyoka. I don’t know if it’s okay to marry her out of friendship. I don’t think I’ll ever feel any love for her. But maybe she’s the best choice for marriage. I keep worrying about which one I should choose.
