When I Go Back in Time, My Ex-wife Is Making a Passionate Approach to Me, and I’m Having Trouble With It

In the afternoon, Haruka and I start our shift for the class performance. We each change into our costumes to play the role of the ghost. Haruka is dressed in white and wears a triangular hood on her head. Haruka looks very well suited to the role of a ghost. She is a beautiful, light-skinned girl who attracts the attention of all the boys.

Haruka and I were both in very close proximity to each other. We were almost in close proximity to each other.

“It’s kind of exciting, isn’t it?”

“I guess so. It’s dark and atmospheric.”

“I feel like a child hiding from the world to avoid being caught in a prank.”

Haruka whispers happily.
I had never seen Haruka act so childish before. I really didn’t understand anything about her.

“Oh, we have a visitor.”

Haruka surprised the customer who came in first. But they were laughing at how cute she was. Then, I quickly follow up with a surprise appearance. The customer screams in surprise.

Haruka’s cheeks puffed up as the customer hurriedly walked away.

“Why aren’t they surprised by me?”

“It’s because Haruka is too cute.”

In both good and bad ways, Haruka looks great in her ghost costume. That’s why it looks like a costume. When Haruka pops up, she looks like a beautiful girl in a cute costume trying her best to surprise you.

“You think I’m cute, don’t you?”

“Objectively speaking.”

“But you don’t.”

“I’m too used to seeing it. “

I had long forgotten that Haruka was pretty. They say that a pretty face gets tired after three days, but we’ve been together for 14 years and I no longer find her pretty

“I’m still a woman. I want to look pretty for someone I like.”

“I’m sorry. “

All I can do is apologize. To me now, high school Haruka brings back fond memories. Her face was a little childish and she didn’t wear any makeup. It brings back fond memories for me, and reminds me of the feelings I had when I was in love.

“Well, whatever. It looks like the next customer has arrived. I’ll give them a surprise next time.”

Haruka is in high spirits. She seems to be enjoying the festival from the bottom of her heart. Not so much for me. This is the second time for me, and I’ve never been the type to enjoy school events like festivals. So I can’t help but look at it with a cold heart.

Why did I go back in time? Not only me, but also Kyoka. Was it to start my life over? What does he want to do by showing me this Haruka? I failed with Haruka once. That’s why I can’t take the plunge no matter how much Haruka tries to woo me. I’m a coward, as Kyoka pointed out to me.

“I guess they won’t be surprised after all.”

Haruka’s shoulders slumped and she let out a sigh.

I remember the time when I was a student when I was with Haruka in the dark. In the past, Haruka and I played the role of a ghost at a school festival. At that time, Haruka was trying her best to surprise the audience. I was attracted by her positive attitude, and I fell more and more in love with her. At the time, Haruka didn’t like being so close to me. But when I surprised a customer, she looked at me as if she was impressed and complimented me a little. That was the first time I thought a cultural festival was fun.

I miss all those memories. The fact that I time leaped meant that those memories were gone, too. I felt a little sad about that.

“It’s almost time to take over, isn’t it?”

“I guess so. Let’s take it easy.”

A replacement student arrives, and Haruka and I take our turns.

When we went outside, the class leader spoke to us.

“I’m sure you two have free time, right? It would be good for publicity, so Kurosaki-san, please walk around the school in your costume as it is.”

“I don’t mind.”

“Thank you. I’ll see you then.”

So Haruka decided to go on a date with me in her ghost costume.

In high school, I never got to go to the school festival with Haruka. I’m going to overwrite my memory of that time now.

“Shall we go?

“Let’s go”

Haruka holds out her hand.

“Well, what’s your hand?”

“You’re going to escort me, right?”

Haruka giggles.

“I won’t hold your hand.”

“I know, I know. I’m just kidding.”

Haruka pulls her hand back. I’m not in a relationship with Haruka. But a hand-holding date is too much of a hurdle.

“Do you want to go to Kyoka’s maid cafe?”

“You see. I wonder what it means to suddenly take me to another woman’s place. Well, I guess I’ll go.”

“You’re going?”

“I’ve been invited.”

Kyouka isn’t on the literature club shift right now. She said she’ll be on class shift in the afternoon, so if I go now she’ll probably be there.

Haruka and I walked side by side to Kyoka’s class.

“Haruka, by the way, you look really good in that outfit.”

“Thank you. It was not a good costume for a ghost, though.”

“You can think of it as a healing mechanism. I’m going to take a picture of you.”

“I don’t mind.”

Haruka blushed a little and posed as a ghost. I press the button on my phone and take a picture.

I show Haruka the photo and she nods in satisfaction.

“Send it to me later, okay?”

A date with Haruka at the school festival. I wonder if I will really be able to enjoy it. I have so many things to worry about that I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy it very much. But now I have the opportunity to start over. I want to enjoy to the fullest what I couldn’t do in the past.
