When I Go Back in Time, My Ex-wife Is Making a Passionate Approach to Me, and I’m Having Trouble With It
After school, we headed to the clubroom. When we entered the clubroom, Tachibana was already there.
“Oh, there’s Senpai. You came again?”
“Yeah, I had a good time and thought I’d join the club.”
“Really?!”
Tachibana opened her eyes and clasped her hands together.
“It is true. I and Kurosaki-san both like novels.”
“I welcome you! I was lonely and alone.”
Tachibana patted her chest as she said that.
In my past, I never showed up at the literature club. The same goes for Haruka. In other words, if we had not joined, it is possible that no one would have joined the Literature Club.
I have never met Tachibana in the past, but I am sure she must have been lonely.
Haruka and I filled out the admission form and handed it to Tachibana.
“Yes, indeed.”
Tachibana received the admission form with a smile on her face.
Then, she began to get somewhat nervous. After a while, Tachibana, perhaps unable to hold back any longer, leaned forward and said
“Senpai, would you like to go to the camp?”
Tachibana suddenly asked.
“A training camp?”
“Yes. A writing camp. It seems to be a tradition in the literature club, but I thought it would be better if I went alone. Now that the older students have joined the club, I thought I would like to go to the camp.”
A writing camp. It certainly sounds interesting. I wonder if I could learn to write a little if I put myself in an environment rich in nature and work hard at it.
“Sounds interesting. Do you have a place to go?”
“Yes, there is a hot spring resort that is used by the Literature Club every year. Since we’re going to be there, why don’t we enjoy the hot springs?”
“That sounds great, a hot spring.”
Haruka’s eyes light up.
The hot springs are fascinating. As high school students, we don’t get to experience hot spring trips very often. If the club can pay for it, I’d be happy to go.
“Let’s go!”
Haruka leans forward in a spirited manner.
“Yay. Then I’ll make reservations for lodging, so please leave the weekend free.”
Tachibana then picked up her phone and made a phone call.
“I’m looking forward to it.”
Haruka talks to me with a big smile on her face.
I’ve only been on a hot spring trip with Haruka once. I was flirting with Haruka in the mixed baths. We were close when we were newlyweds. It was when I was still nervous about sleeping in the same room with Haruka.
“Shinohara-kun is lucky.”
“Why?”
“Because you’re staying over with two girls, you must be looking forward to it.”
It is true that I am a little lucky to have not only Haruka but also Tachibana with me. When I say this, Haruka will probably get angry, but there is nothing fresh with Haruka.
“I got an appointment!”
Tachibana declared triumphantly.
“There was only one room available, so I held on to it for now, but it’s okay, isn’t it?
“No, you’re okay with it?”
In case you are not aware of it, you should be. It would be strange not to be aware of it.
“I have an older brother. I’m not worried about sharing a room with a boy. How about you, Kurosaki-senpai?”
“I don’t mind either.”
To my surprise, I ended up spending the night in the same room with two girls. The mental age is an adult, so it’s not like I’m aware of it, but I still seriously worry about whether Tachibana is going to be okay.
“The places we’re going to include a stalactite cave.”
“Seriously? I’d like to see that.”
“Let’s definitely go.”
Tachibana seems happy about being able to attend the training camp and is in a good mood. Haruka also seems to be looking forward to the hot springs, checking out the glow of her skin.
“If that’s the case, let’s do our best in club activities.”
Tachibana gave the order and club activities began.
“Shall we make a plot for the piece we are going to write at the camp?”
“Plot? What’s that?”
“You were going to write a novel without knowing that?”
Haruka pointed this out to me, and I was a little peeved.
“Well, well, you have to be a writer to know what a plot is. A plot is a blueprint for a novel. You write down the development and foreshadowing in advance.”
“I see. A blueprint.”
It is true that it is difficult to construct a story in one’s head when writing a full-length novel. With a plot, you don’t have to wonder where you are in the story.
“Everyone has their own way of writing a plot, so you can write whatever you want.”
Following Tachibana’s advice, I started writing the first character. I output the story in my head. I want to write a romantic comedy, so I create a cute heroine first. I fill in the elements of what I think is a cute heroine and create the character.
After all, it is no exaggeration to say that a romantic comedy is all about the cuteness of the heroine. I also think the situation is important.
In a sense, romantic comedies are fantasy. It is important to set up situations that would be impossible in reality. The story I am trying to write is an ex-girlfriend story. To explain the story simply, it’s a story about an ex-girlfriend who gradually gets back together with her ex- boyfriend.
“Sounds pretty interesting.”
Haruka looks at my computer and says so. In Haruka and I’s case, she’s more than an ex-girlfriend, she’s an ex-wife, but it’s enough to pay for the coverage.
“Kurosaki-san, are you working on another mystery?”
“Yes. This time I’ll write something that will take your breath away.”
“I look forward to it.”
In fact, Haruka’s novels are interesting. I’ve read a number of them, and they’ve all been interesting. So I want Haruka to write her own novels instead of competing with Tachibana.
