When I Saved a Lost Plushie, I Got Close to a Young Lady From a Yakuza Family

He has sharp eyes and a large, strong-looking physique.

He is Uruwashi’s grandfather, which means he must be at least 50 years old, and probably more than 60. However, his appearance does not show the slightest sign of decline.

undefinedIn fact, his accumulated age radiates a sense of dignity, like a large tree.

“I, I… No, we are just friends.”

“Oh, a friend, huh?”

He was merely repeating my words, but I felt a sense of awe in the pit of my stomach.

Plus, the Japanese sword placed behind Ittetsu and the family crest with an eagle motif displayed in a frame were very frightening.

Uruwashi-san was really a young lady from a family of Yakuza, I realized once again in front of this scene.

“It’s been reported that you took a bath together soon after you met, what’s going on?”

Bath?!

We did go into the bathroom together to wash dirty Banira-chan, but doesn’t that make a difference?!

“That’s …… for washing a stuffed animal.”

“I’m asking you if it’s true or not”

“Yes, it’s not wrong! It’s not wrong!”

I wanted to explain, but I was in no mood to do so.

“Oh, so you’ve admitted it,” Ittetsu thought, stroking the beard on his chin.

“And I heard that you make her cook for you every day.”

“You could say I’m having her make it… Yes, I am having her make it for me.”

“I hear you rest your head on her lap during flower viewings and do other things too. But can you really call her a proper friend? You’re not just making a move on my granddaughter without thinking too much about it, are you? Huh?”

The more I hear from people, the more I think we are beyond the realm of friends!

Why didn’t I notice it after spending so much time together?

“I don’t have that kind of relationship with Ten-chan.”

“Ten-chan ……?!”

Ah, I’m just in the habit of doing what I’ve always done!

Itetsu-san, please don’t glance at the Japanese sword!

“Do you know what it’s like to be involved with a family of yakuza?”

“No, I don’t.”

“Ha?”

he air becomes heavier. The air becomes heavier and I feel like I’m going to stop breathing.

At this rate, I would not even be able to speak, but I managed to squeeze out a few words.

“But I understand that Ten-chan was born into a family of Japanese Yakuza, that she has had difficulty making friends, and that she has probably spent most of her time at school by herself.”

I remember the stares that surrounded her at school and the feeling of alienation she experienced when we went to the café.

I remember every one of them.

“You say so yourself. Are you trying to say that we left her all alone?”

“That’s not true. She was not alone because of the Uruwashi group.”

When I asked her before how she could cook so well, she said that all the caretakers taught her.

And the way they prepared for the cherry blossom viewing party and responded to Uruwashi’s requests showed that they had a good relationship.

“But I think it’s important for us high school students to have friends our own age and to play with each other over common interests.”

When I was making stuffed toys on my own, I thought it was okay to stay the same. I thought that if I could just spend my time alone in a strange land and do as I pleased, then there would be no problem.

But the truth is, I wanted to make friends.

I was longing for a friend as I looked at my classmates in the classroom.

When I met Uruwashi, I learned how fun it was to share my love and play with others.

“I see. I understand what you’re saying. But you see, I have to swear by this Uruwashi’s coat of arms to make the parentless Ten happy. I can’t have you approaching her with half-hearted determination.”

Itetsu-san said, pointing with his thumb at the family crest hanging on the wall without turning around.

For a moment, I was almost intimidated by the large presence.

But that day at the café. I saw Uruwashi looking sad and downcast, and I thought to myself

“Ten-chan’s pretty and cool appearance can lead to some misunderstandings, but she actually loves cute things, and although she’s usually cool, she enjoys talking about her favorite characters, and she’s also the kindest girl around. I have no intention of leaving her.”

Now I can’t imagine my life without Uruwashi. It’s that fulfilling.

And then, I take out something from my bag that I carry with me without taking it off.

“Itetsu-san. If you swear by the eagle, I swear by this ‘Black Dragon’!”

I point the “Black Dragon” on my sewing set at Itetsu-san as if it were a seal case.

This is my partner. He has been by my side when I’ve made many plushies and clothes, and he is a very important person who has connected me and Uruwashi-san.

What do you think? The dragon is stronger than the eagle!

“B-b-black dragon!?”

Itetsu-san said in a shaky back voice, then blew out a stern look

“You reached into your bag, so I thought you were going to pull out a gun or a knife, but it was a black dragon? Ddd-don’t make this old body laugh so much.”

Itetsu-san laughed for a moment, then turned around with a serious face.

No, the corners of his mouth twitched a little.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to laugh at your symbolism and determination. I was just surprised that the attack came from such an unexpected place. You’re pretty good.”

It seemed that I had managed to give the boss a good one

“I know what you’re prepared to do Sou. I wanted to know what kind of a guy she has been playing with lately. I’m sorry I tried that.”

“Eh?”

Was I being tested?!

I’m not sure if he recognized me or not, but he’s starting to call me by my name.

I’m sure he knew we didn’t have an illicit relationship and that’s why he was asking me like that.

‘Take care of Ten from now on, will you?”

“Yes!!”

“But don’t do anything weird, just do it properly.”
nything weird, okay?”

“Yes!”

That’s what it means to have a connection. I wonder if the day will come when we can have that kind of relationship.

I was afraid of Itetsu-san, but I knew that he was a good person who cared about his grandchildren.

I got up and was about to leave the room.

“Sou, I hear you have a younger sister who’s in her third year of junior high school.”

My body stopped.

“Is it Emi-chan? Is she okay now?”

I turned around and looked at Itetsu-san and saw him smiling with a smile on the corner of his mouth.

Why did he mention Emi’s name here ……?

Could it be that he doesn’t really acknowledge it at all and is holding Emi hostage?!

“Make a phone call right here.”

A chill runs down my spine. This man is definitely the boss of a yakuza family…!

I quickly call Emi

“Hello, Sou-chan, what’s wrong?”

“Emi! Are you okay?”

“Hmm? What is it suddenly? Are you okay?”

Heee? It was Emi’s voice as usual.

Ittetsu asks me to take over for a moment, so I put him on speaker.

“Nice to meet you, Emi chan. I’m Ten’s grandpa, Ittetsu.”

Itetsu-san’s gentle voice was completely different from the one he used when he talked to me. Who is this guy?

“Are you Ten-nee’s grandpa? Nice to meet you, I’m Emi!”

“Oh, thank you for all the good things you’ve done for Ten recently. As a thank you, I’ll send you some cosmetics and clothes next time.”

“No, I just wanted to do it. But really?! Thanks, Granpa Tetsu!”

What are saying Emi?!

After hanging up the phone, I ask Ittetsu-san.

“Um, ……, what did you mean by how is she now?”

“Ah? Of course I meant exactly what I said. Besides, it seems that she has taken care of her a lot, so I wanted to say thank you.”

“Bos, that smile is scary.”

Iwahashi-san, who had entered the room before I knew it

“Oh really? I was just laughing so as not to scare him.”

“No one takes your words at face value…”

Iwahashi was holding his head

The person is Uruwashi’s grandfather!

I blurted out.

“No, I’m sorry. I was just thinking that Itetsu-san and Ten-chan look very much alike.”

“Haha I was so happy to hear that. You say that to make me happy.”

“Sagara-kun, what are you talking about? We don’t look alike at all.”

The clear voice echoed in the hall.

Uruwashi was standing behind Iwahashi with a devilish look on her face.

“I’m sorry, Ten. I owe you a little bit”

“Letting him into your house and threatening is terrible! And why is Grandpa calling him by his name? I’m still calling him Sagara kun! I don’t know anything about you. Let’s go Sagara kun”

“E…… eh, Tenchan?!”

I left the hall with Uruwashi taking me by the hand.

“Ten! I’m sorry! Please wait!”

From behind me rang a pathetic voice, not unlike that of the Uruwashi clan leader, a family of Yakuza that everyone feared.
