On my way to the apartment building, I stopped by a convenience store.

I stood in front of the automatic lock and entered the room number my father had told me. I checked the numbers on the panel several times to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake, then pressed the intercom button firmly.

I took a deep breath in front of the room number and rang the doorbell.
There was no response.

It sounded familiar, but since I hadn’t spoken to any female students since entering high school, it was probably a mistake.

When I put my hand on the door, the lock was open.
The room was pitch black. There was no one inside.

I stumbled and fell on my butt, dropping the convenience store bag and scattering its contents.
Colorful confetti was floating in the air.
And in front of me were the three sisters I had just seen after school.

My vision spun, and I was blown onto the floor mat in the living room, sliding across it and slamming my head hard.

“Both of you ! Call the police immediately ! And report this to Dad too !”

The last thing I saw was the three of them staring at me angrily while holding their smartphones to their ears.
